pianoSonoma is excited to launch a new program at Sonoma State University for adult music-lovers of all backgrounds. Perform in or observe daily performance classes, learn from world-class Artists in Residence in creative group classes, and attend a private performance by our Artists. We welcome observers, all instruments, and pre-formed chamber groups. All events take place at the Green Music Center, which includes the beautiful Schroeder Hall.

1:30-3pm Creative class led by Artist in Residence Peter Dugan: “A World Beyond Genre: How a diverse musical palette can enrich our understanding, appreciation, and performance of any musical style”
July 16
10-12pm Performance classes
1:30-3pm Creative class led by Artist in Residence Peter Dugan: “Improvisation and Communication: Using the language of music as a medium for spontaneous dialogue among artists”
3:30-4:30pm Private performance by Artists in Residence
