pianoSonoma in Monterey

We are joining this beautiful, music-supporting community along the California coast. pianoSonoma is thrilled to bring our festival to Monterey, CA and to open up our transformative experience to more musicians and music-lovers of all backgrounds.

Each participant will be paired with one of our world-class Artists in Residence to rehearse and then ultimately perform chamber music together. Events will take place at the music school of Wendi Kirby Music in Monterey.

pianoSonoma is a music festival that brings together musicians from all backgrounds to work together in a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere. The community that we build is long-lasting and powerful.

Workshop with guided rehearsals, private lessons, performance classes, and a composer workshop.*

Wednesday

Final Participant recital in the morning

* We are excited to bring composer Thomas Cabaniss to Monterey. Each participant will have the option to learn a short piece from his new solo piano set, Songs from Joe’s Chapel. He will work with participants in a creative setting to bring these pieces to life, and we will also premiere these pieces in our public concert.**

** We are excited to bring our popular Vino & Vibrato concert series to Monterey. We will host one public concert featuring our Artists in Residence, date to be announced shortly.
