What To Expect
Private Lessons: 45-minute blocks of instruction with either pianoSonoma Boston faculty or Artists in Residence to work on repertoire in a one-on-one setting
Guided Rehearsals: 45-minute sessions with Artists in Residence to work on chamber music repertoire and ensemble skills
Practice Time: 45-minute blocks of time for individual practice in assigned practice rooms
Performance Classes: A unique space for participants, faculty, and artists to come together and share repertoire in a supportive environment. Faculty and Artists in Residence will briefly coach musicians following each performance.
Opening Artist in Residence Concert: an opening chamber concert to showcase the festival’s Artists and Residence and kick off the week
Final Participant Recital: An end-of-the-festival recital to celebrate the participants’ hard work for a small audience of invited guests.
